What's a chip?

A chip is the work credit of produci.ai. Every time Ottone works for you it uses a few: when it prepares the quote from the 3D model, when it reads the PDF drawing, when it answers your questions. What you do without Ottone uses no chips: quote corrections and recalculations, manual edits, export.

It works like at the machine: the more chips come off, the more work has been done. A simple part, like a plate with slots, uses few. A complex part uses more.

You buy chips with a top-up (from €25 to €100) or a subscription, and you always keep track of the chips used.

Do I pay per user?

No. No cost per user: you only buy chips.

What if I run out of chips?

Ottone stops before starting the part and asks you for a top-up.

Do chips expire?

Yes. Top-up chips last 12 months. With the subscription, chips unused in the month expire. Welcome chips last 30 days.

What if I upload the same file twice?

You pay for it twice: for Ottone it is a new part. To review a quote, reopen the saved one.
